Hinduism teaches that there is one ultimate reality behind the universe, which is called Brahman. OM is the most important mantra (sacred word) in Hinduism. It expresses the complete nature of God.
Through Reincarnation, or repeated births, the soul tries to realize its unity with God. This is done through spiritual disciplines known as the Yogas.
The major scriptures of Hinduism are the Vedas, the Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita.
